About the Director(s):

Ragini Bhasin is a filmmaker from India who studied her Masters In Film Directing from Chapman University. She is the recipient of Meredith MacRae Award in 2018 sponsored by Women in Film. Her thesis film, Ghazaal which she developed in the prestigious Aotearoa Short Film Lab in New Zealand revolves around a young refugee experiencing her period in a refugee camp. It was screened in DGA in October and has played over 15 festivals worldwide. Currently, she is a director at the media company called Jubilee Media and is simultaneously working on her feature film which is a social thriller about a clash of 2 families- one that raises a girl and the other that raises a boy.
